Belagroprombank is an active participant of the project for blockchain-based bank guarantees, the first of its kind in Belarus

Belagroprombank participated in the project, significant for the Belarusian banking system, on a bank guarantee issuance using blockchain technology. For the first time, the blockchain platform of the National bank of the Republic of Belarus developed by Belarusian specialists was used in the project.

The advantages of the blockchain technology allowed to reduce the transaction costs, simplify and speed up the guarantee issuing procedure, ensure enhanced protection against unlawful acts, at the same time securing transparency and wide availability for the project’s participants.
