JSC Belagroprombank has acted as the gold partner of FinTech Conference 2017

On 27 and 28 May an international conference Minsk FinTech Conference 2017 took place in Minsk for the first time. For two days Minsk became an international platform for the discussion of financial technologies development trends. The event brought together around 1000 participants from USA, European and Asian countries, more than 30 investors, 20 speakers and representatives of 10 corporate enterprises in the area of FinTech.

JSC Belagroprombank has supported the unique event in the area of financial technologies, within two years JSC Belagroprombank is constantly providing assistance in organization of different events of the Center for the Support of Business LLC Startup technologies.

The Bank has acted as the gold partner of the conference. Minsk FinTech Conference 2017 is the fifth common project of the Bank and the Center for the Support of Start-up movement in our country.

FinTech Conference 2017 was organized by the Center for the Support of Business LLC Startup technologies with the assistance of Minsk City Executive Committee, Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian Innovative Foundation and BelBrand company.

The system is based on the idea of comprehensive assistance to entrepreneurs starting business. Putting the new approaches in practice we all can hope for the speedy success of start-up companies and drawing attention to them from the side of significant investors including foreign investors.

The key event of FinTech Conference 2017 became “Start-up competition”, in which 20 projects from Belarus, Russian cities and other countries in the area of FinTech start-ups took part.

Vitaly Volosyuk and Yulia Lokotkova are the winners of “Start-up competition” – the authors of the project “PingFin” (mobile application based on the analysis of purchasing behavior).

The exhibition of start-ups and panel discussions on various aspects of financial technologies were organized at the conference. Specialists of international standards among them famous businessmen such as Sergey Tsymbarevich, Vladislav Gramovich, Philipp Choubin, Andrey Fillon and others gave their presentations to participants.

At the exhibition companies had a chance to show their groundwork in the area of software and hardware solutions and guests of the event had an opportunity to communicate with the participants and users of offered innovations.

Business - center Victoria gathered around 1000 persons – participants of FinTech Conference 2017.The leading specialists of financial sector, heads of innovation foundations, investment companies and companies working with Fin-Tech technologies took part in the financial forum.

The event participants had an opportunity to hear a series of reports on both overall development processes of FinTech-technologies and particular aspects in work with it. The panel discussion on “How do banks feel about innovations?” was very interesting for the guests, the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus and JSC Non-bank credit and financial institution ERIP took part in the discussion. The guests of the conference paid tribute to the practical and theoretical approaches of spokesmen on intellectual property rights, tax legislation, corporate insurance, adequate strategy of financial development of the company and technology of searching for investments in start-ups.
