New benchmark in the syndicated lending market

Belagroprombank set a new benchmark on the Belarusian syndicated lending market by implementing a deal in which a facility from a pool of Russian banks were raised for a three-year term, which is unprecedented for the Belarusian financial market.

Raising funds from Russian banks for a three-year period allowed Belagroprombank to provide its customers with the most comfortable conditions for financing their foreign trade projects.

This became possible as a result of the work carried out by the bank on the extension of a part of the syndicated facility attracted by Belagroprombank in April 2017, the total value of which amounted to 190 million Euro.

During the extension of the syndicated loan, the focus was made on optimizing the structure of Belagroprombank’s debt burden, and on decreasing the yield, which is especially important in the current economic and geopolitical realities.
