Helpful information
A bank card is a payment instrument that allows you to pay for purchases at retail outlets and via the Internet, withdraw cash, replenish your bank account, transfer money and perform other types of transactions.
Bank cards issued by JSC Belagroprombank allow making payments both within the country and abroad, providing customers with convenient access to their funds almost anywhere in the world, cardholders can pay for goods and services in local currency without the need to exchange cash. This greatly simplifies travel and international travel, as well as makes it possible to manage finances safely and efficiently.
To make payments within the country and abroad, you can issue:
- cards of the international payment systems Visa and Mastercard (except for countries where payment system restrictions apply);
- cards of the Belkart internal payment system.
There are various options for classifying bank cards, the main ones are:
- by type of payment system (Belkart, Visa, Mastercard);
- by type of funds on the account (debit, credit);
- by additional parameters (classic, premium, cards with bonuses, etc.)

It is possible to transfer money to a salary card by non-cash transfer of funds (from card to card), as well as using the system Raschet (ERIP).
The Bank issues cards of three payment systems in different currencies:
- Visa cards - in BYN, RUB, USD, EUR currencies;
- Mastercard cards - in BYN, USD, EUR, CNY currencies;
- Belkart - in BYN, RUB, USD, EUR currencies.
No. Currently, there are no restrictions on conducting operations abroad (cash withdrawals, non-cash payments) by the bank.
The bank has introduced the following restrictions:
- for clients of non-resident banks of the Republic of Belarus – cash withdrawal in the amount of no more than 500 BYN per week from ATMs and cash points of the bank;
- for non-resident clients who have issued bank cards – cash withdrawal in the amount of no more than 6,000 BYN per week from ATMs and cash points of the bank;
- for clients of the bank regardless of residency – a ban on replenishing a card by transfer from another card from outside the Republic of Belarus if the account currency and the transaction currency are Belarusian rubles.
The currency of the operation is converted into the currency of the payment system (USD, BYN, CNY), and upon receipt at the bank – at the rate of the bank into the currency of the account to which the card was issued. Thus, to exclude conversions, the best option is when the transaction currency matches the currency of the account to which the card was issued: what was paid will be debited from the account. For example, for a trip to European countries that use the single currency of the European Union – an account and a card in EUR, for a trip to the USA – in USD.
If the transaction currency matches the currency of the account to which the card was issued, then the amount and currency of debiting from the account will be equal to the amount and currency of the transaction.
If the currency of the transaction does not match the currency of the account to which the card was issued, the currency of the transaction is converted into the currency of the account through the currency of the payment systems:
- for Visa it is USD;
- for Mastercard it is CNY;
- for Belkart it is BYN.
For example.
The client paid in Polish zlotys (PLN) using a Visa payment system card, the account of which is in Belarusian rubles (BYN). Currency exchange operations will take place in two stages: PLN –> USD –> BYN.
If the client has paid in Polish zlotys (PLN) using a Visa payment system card, the account of which is in US dollars (USD), then currency exchange operations will take place as follows: PLN –> USD –> USD. Thus, if the settlement currency of the payment system and the currency of the account to which the card is issued coincide, the currency exchange operation is not performed - the amount received from the payment system for settlements will be reflected in the client's account.
